Definition

把東西（通常是錢）借給某人一段時間，期望對方歸還。'Lend to' 後面接接受的人。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

通常後面跟接受的人；不要和 'borrow from' 混淆。多用於錢，也可指其他東西。語氣中性。口語時也可只說 'lend'。

Examples

I will lend to my brother if he needs money.

如果我弟弟需要錢，我會**借給**他。

The bank does not lend to people under 18.
