Definition
Un atril es un soporte alto con una superficie inclinada que se utiliza para sostener notas, libros o guiones y permitir que alguien lea o hable a una audiencia.

Se usa principalmente en entornos formales, académicos o religiosos; se dice 'hablar desde el atril'. No confundir con 'podium', que es una plataforma elevada en la que la persona se para; 'lectern' es solo el soporte para los papeles.
