El cuero es un material resistente hecho de piel de animal, que suele usarse para fabricar zapatos, bolsos, chaquetas, muebles y otros productos.

Normalmente es un sustantivo incontable: se dice 'made of leather', no 'a leather' cuando se habla del material. También se usa mucho como adjetivo antes de otro sustantivo: 'leather jacket', 'leather shoes', 'leather bag'.
