Costuma aparecer com 'at' ('laughed at the joke') ou 'about' ('laughed about it later'). Cuidado: 'laugh at someone' pode significar zombar de alguém, não apenas achar graça. 'Laughed' é regular, embora a grafia mude em relação a 'laugh'.
