Latching 通常指用闩锁牢固关闭某物，或指婴儿含住乳头进行哺乳。

常见于技术、机械和母乳喂养领域。在这些领域外很少用。母乳喂养时，“good latching”指婴儿正确含乳头。不要与普通的“锁”混淆，latch是特定的闩锁。
