パスタのシートにソース、肉や野菜、チーズを重ねてオーブンで焼いたイタリア料理です。

日本語では「ラザニア」は数えられない名詞として使います。『ホームメイドラザニア』や『ベジタリアンラザニア』などの表現が一般的です。一切れや少し食べた時は「ラザニアを一切れ」などと言います。
