라나이는 하와이에서 흔히 볼 수 있는, 집에 붙어 있는 지붕이 덮인 베란다로 휴식이나 손님 접대 시 사용됩니다.

‘Lanai’는 하와이 또는 열대 지방에서 주로 쓰이며, 한국에서는 일반적으로 ‘베란다’ 또는 ‘테라스’로 표현됩니다. 실제 건축에서는 덮개가 있는 구조임을 강조합니다.
