Definition

나뭇가지의 옹이가 빠져나가면서 나무에 생긴 작은 구멍. 주로 울타리나 오래된 나무판자에서 볼 수 있다.

주로 나무나 울타리에 쓰이며, 간혹 '옹이구멍으로 들여다보다'처럼 몰래 보다의 의미로도 쓸 수 있다. 전문 용어에 가까움.
