격투기나 스포츠 경기에서 주로 사용됨. 가격 할인이나 장애물 감소 등 은유적으로도 쓰임. 'knockdown price'처럼 형용사로 쓸 땐 의미가 다름. 복수형은 여러 번임을 강조.
