কীল হলো একটি নৌকা বা জাহাজের তলায় সামনের দিক থেকে পেছনের দিকে চলা প্রধান কাঠামো যা জলযানকে শক্তি ও স্থিতিশীলতা দেয়।

শব্দটি সাধারণত নৌ নির্মাণ বা জাহাজ চলাচলের প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'কীল ওভার' (উলটে পড়া) শব্দের সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
