Definition
Bir şey yapmadan bekleyerek zaman geçirmek, genellikle başka bir şey yapmak istendiğinde veya sabırsız hissedildiğinde kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle İngiliz İngilizcesinde kullanılan gayriresmî bir deyimdir. Zorunlu bekleyiş nedeniyle can sıkıntısı veya hayal kırıklığını belirtir. 'wait around', 'twiddle your thumbs' ile benzer.
