Los hervidores son recipientes, normalmente con tapa y pico, usados para hervir agua para té, café u otras bebidas calientes.

'Kettles' generalmente se refiere a aparatos eléctricos o de hornilla para hervir agua. En inglés británico se usa mucho para hervidores eléctricos. No confundir con 'teapot' (tetera para infusionar el té). Se usan frases como 'put the kettle on'.
