"just deserts" in Japanese
Definition
その人がしたことにふさわしい報いや罰を受けること。特に悪い行いの結果として使われることが多い表現。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
フォーマルや文学的な場面で使われることが多く、主に悪い行いへの当然の罰に使う。「just deserts」は甘いデザート（dessert）と混同しないよう注意。『get/receive one's just deserts』の形で使われる。
