जिसमें दो भुजाएँ एक समान लंबाई की होती हैं, खासकर उन त्रिकोणों के लिए जिनकी दो भुजाएँ बराबर होती हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर गणित और ज्यामिति में इस्तेमाल होता है। सामान्यतः त्रिकोण के लिए ('समद्विबाहु त्रिभुज') प्रयोग होता है, पर अन्य आकृतियां भी हो सकती हैं जिनकी दो भुजाएँ बराबर हों। अंग्रेज़ी में दूसरी ध्वनि पर ज़ोर है: 'eye-SOS-uh-leez'।
