誰かがあなたに質問をして、あなたが仕事や地位、時々学校に適しているか決めるための正式な面接に参加すること。

多くは具体的な職や学校名と一緒に使います（'interview for a job'など）。主に仕事や進学の文脈で使います。質問する側ではなく、受ける側です。'interview with'と混同しやすいです。
