裁判で当事者が相手方に書面で送る質問状のことで、裁判前に事実関係を明らかにするために用いられます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に法律用語で、通常は民事事件で使います。「尋問書」は裁判関連の正式な書類です。日常会話や警察の取り調べには使いません。
