Um aparelho que permite que pessoas em diferentes cômodos ou áreas de um prédio se comuniquem por voz, normalmente por alto-falantes ou telefones.

Muito usado em prédios, escritórios e escolas. 'Interfone' é mais comum no Brasil para sistemas em apartamentos; 'intercomunicador' pode soar mais técnico. Expressões: 'falar no interfone', 'atender o interfone'.
