異なる大学どうしで行われる大会や活動、組織などを指す言葉です。特に大会やスポーツ、イベントで使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にスポーツや学術大会などで使われます（例:『intercollegiate competition』『intercollegiate athletics』）。一つの大学内の活動には使いません。
