Definition
Intentar ayudar a resolver una discusión o problema hablando con ambas partes; hablar o actuar en nombre de otra persona para evitar problemas u obtener ayuda.

"Intercede" es formal y se utiliza en situaciones legales, diplomáticas o serias. Collocaciones: "intercede with", "intercede on behalf of". Siempre implica mediar entre otros, no por uno mismo.
