Definition

খাঁজ বা ডেন্ট মানে হলো কোনো কিছুর পৃষ্ঠে চাপিয়ে বা কেটে তৈরি হওয়া ছোট ফাঁকা বা দাগ। লেখার ক্ষেত্রে, অনুচ্ছেদের শুরুতে ফাঁকা জায়গাকেও বোঝায়।

এই শব্দটি কাঠ, ধাতু, চামড়া ইত্যাদিতে ছোট ডেন্ট বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। লেখায়, এটি অনুচ্ছেদের শুরুতে ফাঁকা জায়গার জন্যও ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Indentations' শুধুমাত্র ইচ্ছার জন্য নয়; বানান মিলিয়ে লেখা উচিত।
