Definition

ইনডেন্টেশন বলতে কোনো লেখার লাইনের শুরুতে ফাঁকা স্থান বা কোনো পৃষ্ঠে ছোট গভীর দাগ বা খাঁজ বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

লিখনে সাধারণত 'paragraph indentation' বলতে অনুচ্ছেদ শুরুতে ফাঁকা স্থান বুঝায়। কোড ফরম্যাটিংয়ের ক্ষেত্রেও ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'indentation' বড় গর্ত বোঝাতে নয়।
