お金を借りている状態や借金があること。または、誰かに対して恩や感謝の気持ちを感じていることも指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主にビジネスや金融などフォーマルな場で使われます。日常会話では「借金」（しゃっきん）が一般的。恩義や感謝の意味でも使われますが、その場合もやや硬い表現です。
