এখনও বিজয়ী হওয়ার, নির্বাচিত হওয়ার বা সফল হওয়ার সুযোগ আছে এমন অবস্থা। প্রতিযোগিতা বা নির্বাচন প্রক্রিয়ায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

ফর্মাল ও ইনফর্মাল উভয় পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহার হয়। খেলা, ব্যবসা, বা নির্বাচন নিয়ে বলার সময় 'in the running' খুব সাধারণ। শারীরিক দৌড়ের জন্য উপযুক্ত নয়।
