특정 상황이나 비상시에 무엇을 해야 하는지 또는 대비하는 경우에 쓰는 표현입니다.

대개 명사 앞에 붙어서 '화재의 경우'와 같이 씁니다. 공식 안내문, 표지판 등에 자주 나오므로 'in case'와 혼동하지 마세요.
