Parte giratoria de una máquina, como una bomba, que impulsa líquidos o aire al girar.

Término técnico e ingenieril, usado sobre todo en bombas, compresores o turbinas. No se emplea en la conversación cotidiana. No confundir con 'hélice', que suele referirse a aviones o barcos.
