Se alguém é hiperativo, é extremamente enérgico e tem dificuldade em ficar parado ou calmo. O termo é usado frequentemente para crianças muito ativas que têm dificuldade de focar ou controlar seu comportamento.

Muito usado para descrever crianças, especialmente em contextos médicos ou escolares ('criança hiperativa', 'comportamento hiperativo'). Também pode ser usado de forma informal para adultos exagerados. Geralmente relacionado ao TDAH, mas não necessariamente um diagnóstico.
