Definition

誰かが急ぐとは、時間が足りないために早く動いたり行動することです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主語が「彼」「彼女」「それ（it）」のときにのみ使います。物語や説明文、ニュースでよく出る表現。たいてい “to” の目的地が続きます（例: 'She hurries to the station.'）。命令や提案には使いません。

He hurries to school every morning.
