ホースから水を出して、泥や汚れを落とすために洗うこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常的で屋外や物の汚れを落とす時などに使う表現。人をお風呂で洗う場合には使わない。"hose off the dirt"や"hose yourself off"のように使う。
