たくさんの穴や空洞があり、蜂の巣のようになっている状態。内部に規則的な空間があるものに使われる。

主に形容詞として使われ、多くの場合“〜で穴だらけ”という受け身表現で使う。壁や岩などの実体だけでなく、ネットワークのような抽象物にも使うことがある。広範囲に穴や空洞がある場合を指す。
