"hit with" in Portuguese (BR)
Definition
Acertar ou bater em alguém ou algo usando um objeto. Também pode ser usado de forma figurada para indicar ser afetado por algo de repente.

Pode ser literal ('bater com um bastão') ou figurativo ('ser atingido com más notícias'). Após 'with' vem o objeto usado para bater. Não significa juntar objetos, mas usar um para bater no outro.
