組織学は、植物や動物の組織の顕微鏡レベルでの構造を科学的に研究する学問です。

主に医学、科学、学術分野で使われる用語です。日常会話ではほとんど使いません。「バイオプシー（生検）」「顕微鏡」「病理学」などと一緒に使われることが多いです。
