ハイジャック犯とは、主に飛行機などの乗り物を違法に、力や脅しによって奪う人のことです。

特に飛行機の乗っ取り犯を指すことが多いですが、他の乗り物でも使います。「kidnapper」は人を誘拐する場合に使います。法律やニュースでよく見かける語です。
