किसी चीज़ या खुद को वहाँ रखना जहाँ कोई न देख सके या ढूँढ़ न सके। इसका मतलब कोई बात छुपाना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आमतौर पर अनौपचारिक है; 'hide' आमतौर पर वस्तुओं या लोगों के साथ प्रयोग होता है। आम वाक्यांश: 'hide from', 'hide something', 'can't hide my feelings'। अपने आप को छुपाना मतलब ध्यान से बचना भी हो सकता है। इसे 'cover' (ढंकना) या 'mask' (छुपाना लेकिन पूरी तरह नहीं) से न मिलाएँ।
