六角形は、6本の直線の辺と6つの角を持つ平らな閉じた図形です。

数学や幾何学、またハチの巣など自然界の形を説明するときに使います。形容詞形は「六角形の」（hexagonal）です。五角形や七角形と混同しないようにしましょう。
