Definition

소, 코끼리, 양 등 같이 큰 동물들이 함께 모여 다니는 무리를 말합니다.

주로 소나 코끼리 등 큰 동물 무리에 사용되며, 작은 동물에는 쓰지 않습니다. 'herds of cattle', 'herds of elephants' 등과 같이 많이 사용됩니다. 'flocks'(새 무리)와 혼동하지 마세요.

The farmer watched his herds in the field.
