Bán cầu là một nửa của hình cầu, thường nói về nửa Trái Đất (bán cầu Bắc/Nam hoặc Đông/Tây) hoặc hai nửa não bộ.

Từ này chủ yếu dùng trong khoa học, địa lý hoặc sinh học: 'bán cầu Bắc/Nam', 'bán cầu não trái/phải'. Không dùng cho các lục địa, ít dùng trong giao tiếp hàng ngày.
