Definition

聴力は耳で音を感じ取る能力です。また、裁判所や公的な場で証言や意見を聞くための正式な会合も指します。

'hearing loss'は「難聴」、'hearing aid'は「補聴器」。法律の場では「公聴会」「審問」として使われます。「hearing」は物理的な感覚、「listening」は注意深く聞く行為です。
