"hear things" in Spanish
Definition
Creer que escuchas sonidos, voces o ruidos que no son reales o que otras personas no pueden oír. También puede referirse a confusiones o imaginación.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Informal. Se usa mucho para describir alucinaciones, pero también para errores de percepción ('creí escuchar algo'). No se usa si realmente oyes un sonido concreto. Frecuente en frases como 'Creo que empiezo a oír cosas'.
