Definition

誰かの依頼に対して、喜んで〜する、または進んで〜する気持ちを表す表現です。

丁寧な申し出や、依頼への快い応答の時によく使います。ただ「幸せ」な気持ちではなく、「進んで行動する意志」を表現します。たとえば「happy to help」などです。

I'm happy to help you with your homework.

宿題を手伝えて**喜んで**います。

She is happy to answer any questions.

彼女はどんな質問にも**喜んで**答えます。

They are happy to see you again.

彼らはあなたにまた会えて**喜んで**います。
