包む覆う (毛布などで)

Definition

人や物を特に毛布や布で包んだり覆ったりするという、古い時代の言葉です。

現代ではまず使いません。「cover」や「wrap」を使いましょう。スコットランド文学や古い詩に登場します。

The old nurse happed the baby with a warm blanket.

年老いた看護婦は赤ちゃんを暖かい毛布で**包みました**。
