突然的一陣強風、氣流,或(少見)指情感或能量的突然爆發。

通常指風(如“a gust of wind”),偶爾用於比喻性表達(如“a gust of laughter”)。正式程度中性。常見於“gust of ...”結構,不要與“breeze”(微風)混淆。
