軍隊や刑務所などで警備員や兵士が勤務したり、休憩したりする部屋。時には軽い違反をした兵士の拘留にも使われる。

主に軍隊や刑務所の文脈で使われます。「衛兵詰所に入れられる」は軍規違反などの軽い懲罰の意味もあります。日常会話ではほとんど使いません。
