গ্রুভাররা সেইসব মানুষ, যারা দারুণ ছন্দের সঙ্গীত পছন্দ করেন ও সঙ্গীতের তালে মজা করে নাচেন বা নড়াচড়া করেন। শব্দটি মজার ও অপ্রচলিত।

শব্দটি সাধারণত পার্টি বা সঙ্গীতের পরিবেশে ব্যবহার হয় এবং আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাষায় নয়; কাউকে "groover" বললে বোঝায় সে নাচতে বা অনন্দিতভাবে সঙ্গীতে নড়তে ভালোবাসে।
