"Grating" 指用金屬或木條構成、有空隙的結構，常用作覆蓋物或障礙物。也可用來形容刺耳、令人不舒服的聲音。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
作為名詞時，多指排水口、窗戶等的金屬格柵。作為形容詞時，常形容聲音刺耳，如"grating noise"。不要和 "great"（很棒）混淆。
