谈论别人的私生活或隐私，通常不太友善，并且常常传递未经证实的信息。

多用于非正式场合，含有负面或不礼貌意味，特别是当信息是私密或有可能是假的时。常搭配'about'（如 gossiping about someone）。不要与 '聊天' 混淆。
