Definition

গোমোরাহ ছিল বাইবেলে উল্লেখিত একটি প্রাচীন শহর, যা তার অত্যন্ত পাপাচারের কারণে ধ্বংস হয়। এটি বিশেষভাবে কোনো জায়গার চরম অনৈতিকতা বা পাপের অবস্থার বর্ণনা দিতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

ধর্মীয় বা সাহিত্যিক প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। কখনো কখনো ‘সদোম ও গোমোরাহ’ একসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ কথোপকথনে খুব কম শোনা যায়।
