Definition

日常や不思議な出来事、特に何か変わったことが起きている時に使われる表現。たいてい「goings-on」という形で使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ほとんどの場合「goings-on」として使われ、やや古風な印象があります。奇妙だったり怪しかったりする出来事について話す時に使います。「離れる」という意味はありません。
