어떤 일을 기대 이상으로 열정적이고 에너지 넘치게 하는 것. 때론 뭔가를 많이 사용하거나 지나치게 하는 경우도 있다.

비격식적 표현이므로 공식 자리에서는 피해야 합니다. 'go to town on'은 요리, 장식, 행사 준비 등에서 열심히 할 때 자주 씁니다. 과도하게 한 경우에도 사용됩니다.
