"go after" in Portuguese (PT)
Definition
Tentar alcançar, perseguir ou conquistar algo ou alguém, tanto no sentido literal (ir atrás de alguém) como no sentido figurado (procurar uma oportunidade, objetivo ou pessoa).

Geralmente informal. Pode ser literal ('go after the thief') ou figurado ('go after your dream job'). Muito usado para esforços determinados. Não confundir com 'go for', que é simplesmente tentar.
