Definition

किसी चीज़ को सीधे किसी को देना। कभी-कभी इसका अर्थ किसी से बहुत सीधे या कठोरता से बात करना भी होता है ("give it to" किसी को बोलचाल में)।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आमतौर पर अनौपचारिक; अक्सर किसी चीज़ को सौंपना, लेकिन कभी-कभी डांटना या सीधे आलोचना करना भी ('give it to him about his mistake')। अक्सर सर्वनामों के साथ ('give it to me', 'give it to her') प्रयोग होता है। अर्थ संदर्भ से स्पष्ट होता है।
